Canadian Privacy Law Blog: Can you record telephone calls without consent?

Canadian Privacy Law Blog: Can you record telephone calls without consent?

Good discussion about the laws in question. Presumably recording voicemail is implied consent, although with the ability for messages to be forwarded electronically via VoIP or "translated" into text by voicemail systems, it makes you wonder how much of this is consent is implied or should be made explicit...

Blogspot Blogs Banned in India

From Digital Inspiration, comes this story: Blogspot Blogs Banned in India. It appears the Indian government asked Indian-based search engines to block a few blogs hosted on Blogspot, and they have taken it a step further and blocked all Blogspot (i.e. Blogger) blogs. Fortunately those in India can still access the blogs directly, but they are not being indexed via those search engines.
