Great quote from Bruce LaDuke and discussion about KM and IT in the context of industry, that they are not the centre but are "boat anchors". I hadn't thought about this, since law firms and other professional service are dealing primarily with knowledge and are staffed by knowledge workers. This really emphasizes that what works for one organization does not necessarily work for another.
