Enterprise Systems | The Fundamental Secret to Improving Knowledge Work

I like this article by Jim McGee from Jan 17/06:

Enterprise Systems | The Fundamental Secret to Improving Knowledge Work

In knowledge work the deliverables aren't standardized the way are in industrial work. There is more of an effort to find a unique solution in knowledge work. If you think of librarians or lawyers as knowledge workers, this makes sense to me.

Okay, I like Alexa better because it shows me websites people who have visited my blog have also visited. Plus it rates me 4 1/2 stars out of 5 and my traffic rank is 18 (whatevertaht means).

Hmmmm...just found this. Yet another website "measuring" blogs. I get one out of 5 stars for popularity, and my alexa traffic graph (!) shows I am not in the top 100,000 blogs.

Yeah, so?

LogoYes Logo Generator: Take Control of Your Logo Design. Lots of fun! Take the demo tour, then play with your logo until it is done. Then you can pay for it; $99 for the basic service, and some quick professional-looking logos. It gives you one graphic/icon, and two lines of text. You can choose the layout and colour of each. Gravatar - Globally Recognized Avatar

A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an 80×80 pixel avatar image that follows you from weblog to weblog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Avatars help identify your posts on web forums, so why not on weblogs?

Go to this website and get your free gravatar. And you can apparently make your blog gravatar-enabled. Woo hoo.
